Adventures in Advaita Vedanta, the philosophy and science of spirit. We are one you and I; are you curious why?..

Here is a place to linger, to let your intellect roam. Aatmaavrajanam is being written as a progressive study and, as such, can be read like a book. Anyone arriving at any time can simply start at the very first post and work their way through at their own pace. Please take time to read the info tabs and ensure you don't miss a post, by subscribing to the blog. Interaction is welcomed. Don't be a spectator - be a participator!

The Master's Voice

Hari OM

Sundays are 'Soundsdays'; exercise your ears!

In keeping with the theme of shravanam from Friday and the intro to Gurudev yesterday, please do take the time to listen to this delightful half hour of Gurudev from the 1970s, where he was interviewed on a tour of the USA.  You may like to 'bookmark' it for listening to it bit-by-bit. Earphones make the job easier. You are encouraged to take notes, just as if you were sitting at his feet.

Show courage now - answer this in comments or via email;

1)  Gurudev mentions the place name in which the interview is being filmed - where is it?
2)  Why does he say 'shut up and get out'?
3)  How does Gurudev describe our state now, versus the state of Realisation?
