Adventures in Advaita Vedanta, the philosophy and science of spirit. We are one you and I; are you curious why?..

Here is a place to linger, to let your intellect roam. Aatmaavrajanam is being written as a progressive study and, as such, can be read like a book. Anyone arriving at any time can simply start at the very first post and work their way through at their own pace. Please take time to read the info tabs and ensure you don't miss a post, by subscribing to the blog. Interaction is welcomed. Don't be a spectator - be a participator!

'Freedays' are the 'gather our thoughts' days; Q&As; a general page reviewing the week so far…

A short but pertinent post today.  The following are points given by Guru-ji, Swami Tejomayananda, for inculcation.

  1. Knowledge has to be assimilated.
  1. Knowledge that is internalised will spring into action spontaneously.
  1. Knowledge that is not assimilated and reinforced with action will fade away in due course of time.
  2. Equanimity or equal vision ( समता/samataa), is the golden rule of the Bhagavad Gita.
  3. Of material objects, understand the unique value of each and use it accordingly.
  4. Of experiences, maintain your poise through the dual extremes of them.
  5. Of people, accept everyone as they are and relate to them in the appropriate way.

Simple statements. Profound in their purpose. Transforming in their practice.

  1. Simple but has extracted the essence of knowledge.Useful,Yamini.

  2. Simple rules to lead a meaningful life!
