'Freedays' are the 'gather our thoughts' days;
Q&As; a general page reviewing the week so far…
For those
who celebrated other festivals during the past week (Christmas, Hanukkah,
Kwanzaa…) Blessings to you all and may joy and peace be yours.
As we
cover the introduction to the fundamentals of Vedanta on Workings-days, it is
surely seeming esoteric. This is where
trust in yourself to be able to absorb and comprehend must be firm. Each must
take away what they can from each reading, not be afraid to re-read, be
prepared to voice doubts and ask questions. Not everyone can learn at the same
pace and for much of the time, especially in early stages, any knowledge gained
will be held in context with our immediate circumstances and current level of
thinking. All of this is valid. Education, if it is working properly, helps you
to drop away all that is irrelevant and misleading - not through indoctrination
or by stopping you thinking, but by encouraging better and deeper analysis,
release of fixed ideas, acceptance of possibilities and funding the wonder that
carries you through to experience for yourselves and prove (or disprove)
accordingly. Worry not about what you do not know - just know that you can know and, like a new pair of shoes, it
simply takes some walking in them to feel more comfortable!
On that
note, another vid on quantum for you….. It is entertaining and at a later
point, there is the introduction of the possibility of viewing things beyond
space and time. The closing comments are particularly interesting. Professor
Rudolph appears to require the assistance of mind-altering liquids to delve
into the mysteries and admits that even this falls short of providing answers….
For Vedantic 'Physicists', Meditation is the recommended 'mind alterer'!!!
