Adventures in Advaita Vedanta, the philosophy and science of spirit. We are one you and I; are you curious why?..

Here is a place to linger, to let your intellect roam. Aatmaavrajanam is being written as a progressive study and, as such, can be read like a book. Anyone arriving at any time can simply start at the very first post and work their way through at their own pace. Please take time to read the info tabs and ensure you don't miss a post, by subscribing to the blog. Interaction is welcomed. Don't be a spectator - be a participator!

Impressions Left

Hari OM

Story-day is for cultural exploration, puraanas and parables and finding out about leading lights in spiritual philosophy.

Sometimes the story-telling which has most effect is that of first-hand experience. Swami Chinmayananda (Gurdev) never failed to leave an impression on those who came within sitting distance of him! It is the nature of such a Mahatma, that his presence is felt in his photographs and through connection with those who had the great good fortune to be physically in his company.

Swami Swaroopananda is head of Chinmaya International School but also head of the Australasia region of the mission and also of the UK. Here is a short video of Swami-ji talking about Gurudev and his own experience in the path of Vedanta (hopefully part 2 will be out for next week!)
