'Freedays' are the 'gather our thoughts' days; Q&As; a general review of the week so far…
In eight weeks, there will be big celebrations within the Chinmaya Mission family. It will be the 100th anniversary of Gurudev's birth. We are immensely grateful that such a towering intellect, giant heart and lionine stature graced the earth at a time when his words and deeds could not only be recorded in print, but also through audio and visual technologies. The CM channe on YouTube offers much - but it is sometimes a little difficult to find what is relevant or easily understood, for those who are new both to mission and to Vedanta - and some quite heavy accents at times.
Thankfully, the CM Video Dham has remastered some elements of talks given by Gurudev and added subtitles for those who have difficulty hearing. Thus, for the next few weeks, some of these will be shared here on Free-day. None is more than ten minutes, most less; all are highly relevant to topics and texts already studied here at AV-Blog. If shravanam has been good, you ought to find much that is familiar in the concepts, whilst enjoying the presentation that only Gurudev could manage!
