Adventures in Advaita Vedanta, the philosophy and science of spirit. We are one you and I; are you curious why?..

Here is a place to linger, to let your intellect roam. Aatmaavrajanam is being written as a progressive study and, as such, can be read like a book. Anyone arriving at any time can simply start at the very first post and work their way through at their own pace. Monday is AUM-day; in search of meditation

For the month of October, some revision. Each AUM-day there will be some research for you to undertake by tracking back to the beginnings of blog entries on meditation.

  1. From which text is the following quote?
"Once integrated, the mind becomes the full servant of the intellect. At this point the clarity and brilliance of each individual's intellect sparkles. The cultivation of this control leads to the development of a fuller personality and thus marks the beginning of meditation."
  1. What is the 'hydra-headed monster'
  1. Reread the post on the Nature of Desire.

All of this revision is hopefully being put into the workbook! All serious students, like the traveller or the mountaineer, need a measure, a compass if you will, to ensure the journey is valid.

If what you have read has made you think, tell me why. If you are wondering, others are too, so ask that question. If you have a doubt, let it out.
