Adventures in Advaita Vedanta, the philosophy and science of spirit. We are one you and I; are you curious why?..

Here is a place to linger, to let your intellect roam. Aatmaavrajanam is being written as a progressive study and, as such, can be read like a book. Anyone arriving at any time can simply start at the very first post and work their way through at their own pace. Please take time to read the info tabs and ensure you don't miss a post, by subscribing to the blog. Interaction is welcomed. Don't be a spectator - be a participator!

'Text-days' are for delving into the words and theory of Advaita Vedanta.

This month, there will be some revision prompts…

The pancha-koshaH are another key aspect of understanding our relationship with the world. Locate the posts which explain the basics of the koshas.
  1. Name the five sheaths in both Sanskrit and English
  1. Which kosha is responsible for 'bodily functions'?
  1. Give some differentiation between the mental and the intellectual functions.
  1. What is conditioned bliss?

Do not wait for the prompts; be sure to go back and reread as often as you wish - it is always good to be reminded of what is so easily forgotten, but it also serves as a measure against our current level of knowledge.

If what you have read has made you think, tell me why. If you are wondering, others are too, so ask that question. If you have a doubt, let it out.
