As
we approach year-end, it is normal to 'take stock'. Most of the prompts here at
AV-blog over the past few weeks have been about exactly that. Physical
reviewing of the learning.
It
is hoped that you, dear readers, have found that there has been a level of
development in yourselves, that benefit has shown not just in your immediate
life, but as you interact with the larger world. Ultimately, Advaita Vedanta is
a self/Self-development methodology. The philosophy has practical application
and advantage.
For
each of day (except Sounds-days) of the remaining two weeks of 2017, a
single-word prompt will be given. You then have a choice. Take the word and
meditate upon it. Take the word and write about how it makes you feel. Take the
word as an affirmation for your day. Or not take the word at all, simply
blinking and leaving it hanging in the ether. These paragraphs will appear each
day to remind (and to inform those who only pop in on certain days); the
purpose of this exercise is the focus. It will require a level of dedication to
