Finally, an article directly related to saadhana and spiritual growth. It is taken from the Buddhist approach but is perfectly suitable, whichever philosophy is dominant for you. Of particular interest is the section on 'commitment' to practice. Quite rightly, the writer points out the necessity to finally stop casting about and settle into a deeper and more involved practice with one or other tradition.
This is not to say that one cannot read and take heart from other philosophies, but for oneself, stay in place, with one steady teacher (or teachers of the same tradition) so as to know it better, get stronger in it, and there find the thing which ties all traditions together.
