Adventures in Advaita Vedanta, the philosophy and science of spirit. We are one you and I; are you curious why?..

Here is a place to linger, to let your intellect roam. Aatmaavrajanam is being written as a progressive study and, as such, can be read like a book. Anyone arriving at any time can simply start at the very first post and work their way through at their own pace. Choice Article 3

Hari Om
Each 'Choose-day' we will investigate the process by which we can reassess our activity and interaction with the world of plurality and become more congruent within our personality.

Last of three Choose-days with links to external articles. The choice to read those articles is yours alone.

Finally, an article directly related to saadhana and spiritual growth. It is taken from the Buddhist approach but is perfectly suitable, whichever philosophy is dominant for you. Of particular interest is the section on 'commitment' to practice. Quite rightly, the writer points out the necessity to finally stop casting about and settle into a deeper and more involved practice with one or other tradition.

This is not to say that one cannot read and take heart from other philosophies, but for oneself, stay in place, with one steady teacher (or teachers of the same tradition) so as to know it better, get stronger in it, and there find the thing which ties all traditions together.

If what you have read has made you think, tell me why. If you are wondering, others are too, so ask that question. If you have a doubt, let it out.
