ADVENTURES IN ADVAITA VEDANTA...

Adventures in Advaita Vedanta, the philosophy and science of spirit. We are one you and I; are you curious why?..

THE ADVENTURE

HARI OM!
Here is a place to linger, to let your intellect roam. Aatmaavrajanam is being written as a progressive study and, as such, can be read like a book. Anyone arriving at any time can simply start at the very first post and work their way through at their own pace. Please take time to read the info tabs and ensure you don't miss a post, by subscribing to the blog. Interaction is welcomed. Don't be a spectator - be a participator!

Why Think So?

Hari OM

Sounds-day is for listening/viewing a variety of devotional items from and for all ages and traditions.

Some shravanam exercise for you! Gurudev was filmed presenting on the Logic Of Spirituality, one of his most profound introductions to advaita vedanta. The full show has not been accessed, however, there are snippets available and the opportunity is being taken to present them here.

This first part does not have subtitles, so you will need to listen well.  Gurudev's English is excellent, but it is accepted that a few  may have initial difficulties in following the accent.  Do persevere.  The two parts over next two Sundays come with subtitles as they are from different source.  The arguments given for overcoming prejudice towards spiritual investigation are peerless.  There is an introduction of the term कार्य-कारण-संबनद / kaarya-kaarana-sambanda, referring to the connection between cause and effect.

This ends abruptly but will link up clearly from next week. If you feel the need to have a transcription, please ask and efforts will be made.

If what you have read has made you think, tell me why. If you are wondering, others are too, so ask that question. If you have a doubt, let it out.
