Story-day is for cultural exploration, puraanas and
parables and finding out about leading lights in spiritual philosophy.
As
mentioned yesterday, due to short absence, video posts have been scheduled for
your edification. In keeping with the premise of Story-day, a video of Gurudev
speaking and beautifully presented with printed script for ease of reading as
you listen. It is but part one - an intro if you will - and was given some
forty years ago… yet as you will hear, things really have not changed. This
particular publication is aimed at youth (infants up to the under 30s) and,
although it was given at a time when it was necessarily to give heart to the
Indian youngsters in particular, the premise holds true in all society,
globally. Equally, many of us did not have the benefit of knowing Gurudev or
hearing his teachings in our 'youth', so will still find value in this
teaching!
