Adventures in Advaita Vedanta, the philosophy and science of spirit. We are one you and I; are you curious why?..

Here is a place to linger, to let your intellect roam. Aatmaavrajanam is being written as a progressive study and, as such, can be read like a book. Anyone arriving at any time can simply start at the very first post and work their way through at their own pace. Gurudev on The Phantom

Hari OM

Story-day is for cultural exploration, puraanas and parables and finding out about leading lights in spiritual philosophy.

As May is focus month for Gurudev's 100th jayanti, each Storyday has been showcasing his words.

Gurudev wrote;

Ceasar would not be wolf, if Romans were not sheep.

It is we who give the might and power to objects to persecute us with their joys and sorrows.

Situations can hurt us only if the mind is weak enough to be hurt.

It is the desire and craving for something that creates this weakness in the mind.
