Reread
the October and November 2014 posts for Workingsday.
- Take a blank page and without too much thought write down the things you have fears about
- Now eliminate all those which are physical fears (which are more properly termed 'phobias' - the basis will come from within, but this is not a direct link for the purpose of this exercise)
- Extracting the fears which are mental/emotional (these are going to be more about social situations or relationships etc) see if you can narrow them down into a single, over-riding fear.
- Name your fear. Look at it on the paper and watch yourself, your response to it.
- Write about it - as much as you can; why, where, when, what, …
Until
we get to our core fear from which all other fears arise and mutate, we will
always have a place to fall; it will set traps for us. Get to know your fear
and start to Love it! Be aware that this is not a one-off saadhana; this is an
ongoing and evolving practice.
