- Is this philosophy close to one's own values?
- Does it help us to review those values and raise the standard?
- Will it help to uplift and provide something to work for?
- Is the inner being addressed in practical ways?
- Does it offer a structure to work to in order to better practice and assess one's progress?

Each 'Choose-day' we will investigate the process by which we can reassess our activity and interaction with the world of plurality.
Virtually every one of us at some point in life finds ourselves at a nexus - a point where everything seems to have brought one, even if unplanned. It takes some insight to discover the purpose of facing the choice it will take to move on from this point. If we struggle with that level of self-assessment, clear, unemotional, ego-less, then we require another source for it. With great 'luck' (read karmic play) we may have a mentor who can guide us. Most of us lack this so will cast around in seeking mode.
What will take us on to the next stage of life is the philosophical basis we land upon. Occasionally it is very clear and obvious which direction to take, but, again, it can also be muddy. Several differing points of view may arise and unless we have already had some grounding, it can all be very confusing.
What we must do then is ask a few basic questions;
In the event that one finds a conflict, with two or more philosophies appearing to answer our questions in the affirmative, one final question might help. Does this philosophy permit the existence of other philosophies, even include them, and at no time denigrate other methodologies?
Ponder upon this.
